The dictionary defines KNOCKABOUT as “Something designed or suitable for rough or casual use; full of rough and exuberant animal spirits.” We define it as a tough, casual, exuberant and fun airplane to have around when you get tired of taking your flying too seriously.

The PACIFIC KNOCKABOUT was designed by our chief test pilot to help him unwind after a day of scale or IMAC testing. When we saw the things he can do with it, and the grin on his face every time he flies it, we decided we needed to let everyone have this much fun.

A special high lift airfoil makes the KNOCKABOUT ideal for on-the-deck flying, either high speed or low and slow.  Sophisticated aerodynamics make it incredibly smooth in any attitude, yet it is raucously aerobatic at your command.

The KNOCKABOUT is not a trainer. Heck, it will do a rudder-only knife-edge in either direction. But it’s so smooth and forgiving that on low rates it could easily be a second airplane. The KNOCKABOUT isn’t a pattern plane either, and it will never be a 3D star, but it will hover and pull out vertically with an OS 46 AX.  

Oh yeah, it’s also the easiest landing model we’ve ever seen. One wheel touch-and-go’s?  Sure, which wheel? This is the one airplane we always take to the field.

The wheel pants look nice, but they don’t make the KNOCKABOUT fly any better, so we made them optional. They are tough fiberglass, with a sturdy, but easy to install, mounting system and include all necessary hardware. A set of three is just $14.95.
